We saved 1268 trees worth of lumber. The more structural deconstruction we do, the less need there is for clear cutting forests and harvesting low-quality lumber. And old wood is good wood.
We diverted over 160 TONS of reusable building materials from the waste stream. By preserving these materials and putting them into reuse, we did more than just earn extra LEED points.
